The first time I played Indian Trail I was not expecting much. The green fees were low and I didnt think it would have much to offer. By the time I was finished playing 18 I was hooked. The course offers a great level of difficulty and challenges me everytime I play. The price makes it where I can play more often and the course is better than most I have seen in the area.
I grew up in Batesburg-Leesville. I am very athletic and have always been a sports enthusiast. I decided to try golf when my dad retired 6 years ago. Man, I am glad I started....Now I am hooked. My dad is 72 years old and plays this course twice a week with his retired friends for a senior rate of $15 a round (cart included)! When I am in town I am sure to get a round in with him.
My first round at Indian Trail came because our "normal" course had been closed due to some flooding issues. One of the guys in our group told us he knew of a course that he said wasn't that great but was pretty cheap. By the time we made the turn we were all giving my friend a pretty hard time. Cheap is definitely not the way to describe this course.
After living in the area for three years, I finally stumbled over to Indian Trail because my usual course had an outing. After paying the unbelievably low greens fee, I headed out with low expectations...
